Yale Jewish Academics & Friends (YJAF) was initially founded in 2022 as Yale Forum for Jewish Faculty & Friends (YFJFF) by Professor of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging Evan Morris, PhD. with a 3-year grant from the Academic Engagement Network. Dr. Morris organized community dinners (with eggplant!), advocated for the rights and safety of Jews and Israelis at Yale and spearheaded the Academic Mission to Israel in March 2024.
